Waterline has a long-standing partnership with Prevail of Central Indiana (www.prevailinc.com). As the adults of Waterline have supported Prevail we desire that our Family Ministry also understand that We love God and we love others, and we want to help those who have experienced domestic violence and abuse to find hope and healing and make it safe for people to share their hurts and reach out for help. We want our friends to know that Prevail is the perfect advocate to come alongside them when they need help

October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month

Waterline Goes Purple on Sunday October 27th to bring awareness and in Support of our community partner Prevail of Hamilton County.

Make sure your whole family wears purple in support of the cause! You will even be able to get your picture taken at our GO PURPLE Photo Booth so you can post your support! We are also going to have your kids make bracelets that will be given to kids that use Prevail services so they can participate in this event.

We understand that you might not know where to start when talking to your children about how some children aren’t safe and why Prevail is important so we have put together a discussion guide for children preschool through middle school with simple questions about safety. Check it out here:

Family Discussion Guide for Prevail Support

Also this is a great resource for how to walk with your children through crisis that you can save for later or might be good to pass on to someone you know:

See you Sunday Oct 27th at 10:30AM at our Pendleton or Fishers Campuses all decked out in your Purple.
